Brian Bishop

Brian Bishop is a high-performing strategic leader with over 30 years of military experience. Brian has led complex U.S. and multi-national organizations ranging in size from 10 to 30,000. He is an experienced leader, team builder and administrator who with a record of effectively and efficiently resolving demanding strategic, operational and organizational issues. Brian has held multiple senior executive roles—Led Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, “Thunderbirds”; twice selected as a wing commander in Korea and Iraq; Deputy Director of Politico / Military Affairs for the Western Hemisphere; Deputy Director of Air Force Legislative Affairs; and in his last assignment was Commander of the Carl A Spaatz Center for Officer Education and Commandant of the Air War College.
Since leading the Thunderbirds, Brian has been an active member of the International Council of Air Shows having served as the Safety Committee Chair and advising members on several air show incidents and events. Brian retired from the Air Force in 2015 and his now President of Brian T. Bishop & Associates and has passion for leading and building teams of all sizes by equipping them to set the necessary conditions for success through trust-based leadership.
