Final permit issuance: COR900000 Industrial Stormwater General Permit

Please join an informational session on May 22 to learn more about this permit.

The Water Quality Control Division issued the final General Permit COR900000 for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Non-Extractive Industrial Activity on April 28, 2023. In 2021 and 2022, the division led a stakeholder engagement process to gain feedback about potential changes to the permit upon its renewal. You can access the permit and fact sheet, including the response to comments, at the division’s website.

Here are some important changes to the renewed, final permit:
·    Benchmarks and corrective actions.
·    PFAS requirements.
·    Coal tar sealant eligibility requirement.

The division is hosting an informational meeting to help stakeholders understand the renewed permit.
