Pueblo Zoo
The Pueblo Zoo is an Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited facility covering twenty-five acres in Pueblo City Park. It is home to more than 400 animals representing 125 different species from around the world.
The Edge Waterworks Park
Local shop that specializes in Kayaking, Backpacking, Climbing, Technical Apparel, etc. During the summer we offer group kayak lessons and kayak rentals.
El Pueblo History Museum
El Pueblo History Museum showcases the region’s many cultural and ethnic groups through innovative exhibits including the Borderlands of Southern Colorado, and Steel City: 1980-2004.
The property includes a re-created 1840s adobe trading post and plaza, and the archaeological excavation site of the original 1842 El Pueblo trading post.
Rosemount Museum
Built in 1893, this 37-room mansion was home to the John A. and Margaret Thatcher family and was named for Mrs. Thatcher’s favorite flower. It remained a family residence for 75 years. Designed by noted New York architect Henry Hudson Holly and two years under construction, the mansion was completed in 1893. See why Rosemount has been called “Colorado’s Crown Jewel,” and why it was selected for showing on the A & E cable network’s nationally televised “America’s Castles” and the HGTV Series “Christmas Castles”*.
