Kevin Booth
Director - Yampa Valley Regional Airport
Kevin Booth was born and raised in Altadena, California. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Kevin began his career as a construction engineer with Guy F. Atkinson Company, where he worked for six years, including three years overseas building an airbase for the Israeli Air Force.
He later joined the United States Air Force, serving as an officer and fighter pilot for 30 years. His distinguished military career included overseas assignments in Spain, Qatar, Germany, Alaska, and Indonesia. He retired as a Colonel in 2014, following his final assignment as the U.S. Air Attaché at the American Embassy in Jakarta.
Since January 2015, Kevin has served as the Airport Director at Yampa Valley Regional Airport.
He is married with two grown daughters who live in San Diego and Long Beach, California. In his free time, Kevin enjoys fishing, skiing, woodworking, and all things aviation.
