Jared Geissler
Environmental services manager for Terracon
Jared Geissler is the Environmental services manager for Terracon’s Colorado Springs, Colorado office. Mr. Geissler is a Principal within Terracon, a registered professional engineer, certified project management professional, and certified hazardous materials manager. Mr. Geissler has 20 years of experience in environmental engineering and remedial design experience. His primary experience lies in remediation strategies for vapor mitigation as well as soil and groundwater.
Mr. Geissler develops work plans for environmental drilling projects, site characterization, and corrective action planning. He designs in-situ remedial applications using various media including; chemical oxidation and biological amendments, and mechanical systems using soil vapor extraction and air sparging (SVE/AS). Additionally, construction/deconstruction over-site and oversight of other remediation activities, including environmental excavation and UST removal.
Mr. Geissler is also an active participant in Terracon’s PFAS professional network and provides companywide support for PFAS related site investigations at airports, DOD facilities, and commercial properties; including groundwater and soil sampling, materials management plan development and has operation, maintenance, and monitoring experience for PFAS pilot test surface and groundwater treatment systems utilizing, GAC and ion-exchange resins. He was the program manager for Terracon’s statewide PFAS sampling effort conducted in partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. (CDPHE).
In his free time he enjoys golfing and peak bagging, summiting all of Colorado’s 58 14ers with his wife Chasidey.
